Cheating

Time to get a little personal. So cheating is a touchy subject because someone always gets hurt. Its the kind of thing that you cant hide, it always seems to come out one way or another. They say once a cheater always a cheater. I don't believe that statement. That's like saying once a thief, always a thief...or anything else for that matter. Life is about growth and change and no matter how hard you try you will have to grow and change to survive. In my past I cheated. There I said it, kind of hard to admit but yes I did it. To be technical we were broken up, not living together, not speaking, the whole nine yards. That doesn't excuse it. My behaviour was immature and impulsive. You cannot find in another what is missing from your current partner. Ever heard of the 80/20 rule? That simply means your current partner is 80% and what you find in another person is 20%. It will feel as if the new person is the 80% and your current 20%, trust me it's quite the opp...

How NOT To Pick Up A Woman

Have you ever tried to pick up a girl at a bar only for her to laugh in your face? This probably happened because you have said something ridiculous or done something just as foolish. Below are a list of things to avoid, when mingling with women. I am a women so I should know something about what it is we like.  A woman doesn't want you to say what she wants to hear, she wants honesty. There's no point in wasting time trying to get her to have sex with you if your not going to put in the work to get to know her. If sex is what you want then just say that, you don't know what her response will be unless you ask. There are some women who want meaningless sex and nothing more. If you put in work to get to know her and she still doesn't like you...then that's your answer. There are twice as many women on earth as men, you will meet someone else. Another tip is not to use money to entice a woman. For instance if you buy a lady a drink don't expect anything but co...

Resistance

Have you ever been told to do something by your mother and you didn't do it? In fact, you did the exact opposite of what she asked just because "you can"...only to find out later that you just ruined your chance to get to see your favorite musical artist perform?! OR maybe she called off your surprise birthday party until your attitude adjusts. What you didn't know was that at that concert, or party you would have met someone who would have changed your life forever had you acted accordingly. Sometimes this happens to us in life but instead of it being mom who takes something wonderful away it's you yourself. God has many things in store for us but only IF we do things as he asks. If we create our own way we block blessings. You can change the course of things permanently with one small mistake. Ever hear of the "Butterfly Effect"? This is why it is so important to THINK (something I'm working on: as Steve Harvey says...He ain't thru with me ye...

You Get What You Pray For

I've prayed most if not all my life for the man of my dreams. Most girls do right? We dream of our wedding day while playing dress up, we use Ken and Barbie to represent how we hope to be one day. Well it wasn't until recently that I started praying to God for the man He has chosen for me, not the one I wish for. Gods blessings are always bigger than you can imagine. So His chosen man for me must be incredible! You see I prayed for the opposite of my last relationship. In my past relationship we spent all our time together. I can remember accepting overtime at work just so we would have less time together. We fought over everything. I got what I asked for...someone working, educated, and dedicated. Someone who doesn't spend every waking hour at my side. In the past few months God has spoken to me. Telling me to stay the course in relation to a perticular person in my life. This person I care for deeply, mesmerized by their ora. It has been and will continue to be a diffic...

Family Matters

I come from a very large family. I only have one brother but my extended family is huge. I love my family even though some times they may drive me crazy. They pick me up and carry me through my tough times, they make me laugh til I cry. They are special, every one in their own way and I love them with all my heart. I wish we kept in touch better than we do but the fact that we keep in touch and celebrate together is enough to make me happy. When I grew up I spent a lot of time with my cousin Ramona. I was young and my parents put us together so we could play (really so they could have adult time lol). Ramona is very unique to say the least. There is no one like her and there never will be. Out of everyone in the family she reminds me most of my late uncle jr. This was a guy you either loved or hated. Most loved him. She is so amusing, creative, loud, divalious, fabulous, short tempered, beautiful, bold...I could go on. This chick can make a grown man blush, there aren't many who c...

You have Kids?

Hey everybody! I wanted to speak on this subject and find out how you guys feel. This is something I've had to face for at least the last ten years of my life. I myself do not have any children; nor do I have children in my life that I treat or love as my own. I grew up in a broken home, my parents divorced when I was very young. Each household i lived in both of my parents began to see other people. For me the experience was not good at all. At one house the female (step mom) thought and often reminded me that she should come first. She wanted quality time and money that I felt should belong to me. No one acted as if we were a family because we felt as if we weren't.I was his kid and she his girlfriend.  In the second house there was a lack of respect, but I always felt as if I were put first. I liked feeling this way. This home felt more like a family, but there was still a underling weird feeling surrounding all of it. As an adult I was very careful of who...
