Love & Hip Hop ATL Season 2 part 2

As men age they become more set in their ways...which brings us to Rasheeda and Kirt: How triffling is he to tell his wife that she should get a abortion, and then to say she is a rapper and that means she could have cheated on him. Now it wasn't right for Rasheeda to go and pay $20,000 for a video shoot. I think she wanted to get back into the groove of work and work takes her mind off Kirt. Before she found out about the pregnancy she was not getting much attention from him, with his family member in the hospital. All their money was going towards the treatment and care of that person. So she may have gotten angry. Finding out about the preganancy was a shock she says, but Kirt's reaction was the real shocker. Then. He goes out and sleeps with not one but two women! That was more than "turnt up" as he decribes it. He kept saying he got a pass. No, I don't believe that for one minute. You are married, not dating! And how many women and how much time do you need

Basketball Wives Season 5

So in this first episode we see Evelyn speaking out about what happened between her and Chad. She talks about finding a empty condon wrapper and questioning him. Now after watching Evelyn we all know she most likey cussed him and yelled at him. I would have to, I mean it hasn't even been 90 days into the marriage yet. She brought him into her family and created a relationship with her daughter and he. That's pretty big don't you think. Her daughter has had now 3 male figures in her life. If I were her daughter I would be confused and scared to get close to another man. So it seems that during the incident Chad headbutted Evelyn causing a 3inch gash on her forehead. I was shocked when I saw the photos which can be found on TMZ. She divorced Chad quickly, but says she's unsure of her decision. He reached out to her Mom, saying how sorry he was and that he wants his family back. Kinda late for that don't ya think. Later in the episode we see Evelyn talking to the girls

Robin Thicke Sues Marvin Gaye Family

Robin Thicke is suing Marvin Gaye's family saying that Marvins music is simular to Thicke's. Thick says his songs are original. I heard about this on HLN news, and it shocked me. All the commontion is over Thicke's song "Blurred Lines" and Gayes Funkadlics songs. How can Robin Thicke sue Marvin Gaye! Marvin is a legend to say the least. This man payved the way for people like Whitney Houston and Micheal Jackson, who then made way for new artist like Robin Thicke. Sounds to me like Robin Thicke is not grateful for that nor does he appreciate and know "Real Music". Robin has had some hits that even I liked. Its his voice that sets him apart, not the beats or his performance. But if you look at him closely he has a style of Prince or MJ when it comes to clothes and hair. His sound is that of a soul performer. What I do not like about Robin and so many other new artist is that they have forgotten where soul and R&B have come from. New artist just throw

Why is sex so important?!!

Why is sex such a big part of dating? Seems like if you don't have sex with a guy he cheats or leaves you. Not to say that I have never enjoyed sex or lusted for someone, but why is it such a big part of a relationship. Lately I've been spending a lot more time alone and mediating on my life and my choices. This subject came to mind one day when I felt as if I had to have it or I was going to emotionally unravel. Why?? So I challenged myself to see how long I could go without it. Along the way I noticed how many people are focused on sex. I saw the real side of men, of which before now I never knew looked at me as a prize or trophy to put on their "did that" wall. When you tell someone you don't want their body in that way, you will be surprised at the reaction you get. I saw men at like babies, tell me they were sick of waiting on me (however they got the idea that I was waiting on them I don't know, or that I wanted that from them is still a mystery), thre

My experience with Love

One of my first relationships was one that lasted for 5 years. I know my first boyfriend, and we stuck it out that long. I was showered with gifts, thinking that was love. It was his expression of it for sure, but he didn't want the things I did. Near year 3 and 4 we had lost our common goal. He wanted to be with many women, not to be tied into a partnership. I wanted to be in control and demanded attention. Believe it or not that relationship ended in a "sorta" engagment. The day he brought me the ring he didn't do it in a romantic way. It was however unforgettable. He chucked it across the room yelling "here you wanna get married, fine!" And that was the end of that. There were a few men inbeween but none that really stuck out. A few I got along great with, and some who even my friends thought was the one. Turned out none of those were. The next big relationship was a chart topper. This guy every girl wanted. All my friends were jealous of me. He was char

Cheating

Time to get a little personal. So cheating is a touchy subject because someone always gets hurt. Its the kind of thing that you cant hide, it always seems to come out one way or another. They say once a cheater always a cheater. I don't believe that statement. That's like saying once a thief, always a thief...or anything else for that matter. Life is about growth and change and no matter how hard you try you will have to grow and change to survive. In my past I cheated. There I said it, kind of hard to admit but yes I did it. To be technical we were broken up, not living together, not speaking, the whole nine yards. That doesn't excuse it. My behaviour was immature and impulsive. You cannot find in another what is missing from your current partner. Ever heard of the 80/20 rule? That simply means your current partner is 80% and what you find in another person is 20%. It will feel as if the new person is the 80% and your current 20%, trust me it's quite the opposite. P

How NOT To Pick Up A Woman

Have you ever tried to pick up a girl at a bar only for her to laugh in your face? This probably happened because you have said something ridiculous or done something just as foolish. Below are a list of things to avoid, when mingling with women. I am a women so I should know something about what it is we like.  A woman doesn't want you to say what she wants to hear, she wants honesty. There's no point in wasting time trying to get her to have sex with you if your not going to put in the work to get to know her. If sex is what you want then just say that, you don't know what her response will be unless you ask. There are some women who want meaningless sex and nothing more. If you put in work to get to know her and she still doesn't like you...then that's your answer. There are twice as many women on earth as men, you will meet someone else. Another tip is not to use money to entice a woman. For instance if you buy a lady a drink don't expect anything but co

Can I Get A Refill?

Over the past year I have been giving myself, my time and resources to other people. In a perfect world all of that would be fine and wonderful...but this world is far from perfect. Although you are expected to be just that. I have had to step back and watch, take a rearview look if you will. You see all of the people I have tried to help and support, were very much grateful for my assistance. They smiled and told me how much of a great help I had been to them. The problem is, that not many of them have returned the favor. I was left drained and alone. Angry and restentful. God wants us to help others even if it takes away from what we have, for the Lord will provide for us and our needs if we trust him. There was something that I forgot all about, myself. You cannot give to others if you have nothing to give. There were even times when I had only enough patience and time for myself and still I was bribed to give what was left. This didn't work, I kept what I had and left that ind

I'm a Diva not a Devil

I recently discovered I have something called resting bitchy face... What is resting bitchy face you might ask? Have you ever been told "Your much prettier when you smile" or "Cheer up, it can't be that bad!" Well I have lots of times. Let me explain... Resting Bitchy Face: How your face looks when its at rest...and if you look bitchy then you my friend have resting bitchy face! I have no idea that I look so mean, angry or unapproachable. I am not a mean person, in fact I'm quite nice if I do say so myself. I wonder if there is some way I can change how my face looks at these times. Like are there some type of face exercises that I can do? Could I draw happy looking eyebrows on? Would this change anything or just make me look like a fool. Maybe I should wear high tightly pulled ponytails so I look more appealing to the eye. If you are someone who knows me you should know I'm not upset. Please if you see me out speak to me, but not about how angry m

Laura Geller Makes Foundation for Deeper Skin Tones?

Image
I recently placed an order with QVC for a collection created by Laura Geller. If you don't know who Laura Geller is, she is a makeup artist who really hit the charts with her famous mineral makeup. People fell in love with her balance-n-brighten foundations and blush products; not to mention her outta this world marble lipsticks! The line never offered foundation colors for deeper skintones until now. That's right ladies, it's finally here and it's everything it promises to be. The kit is called Fall into Baked; it contains 6 items. All products are 1.8g, you will receive a blush in Apricot Berry, a Bronze-N-Brighten in medium, a duo marbalized eyeshdaow in Smokey Quartz and Golden Smoke, and a Balance-N-Brighten foundation in Deep, you also receive two brushes (a foundation brush and a double ended eyeshadow/liner brush). The total cost for this kit is $39.98 and does have a split payment option if ordered from QVC. The products are beautifully packaged. They are sm
